International energy group DILORETIO HOLDINGS LTD announces transition to AI-powered seismic data processing using Anthropic technologies.
International energy group DILORETIO HOLDINGS LTD has announced the beginning of a new phase of digital transformation, deploying artificial intelligence solutions based on Anthropic technologies for processing geospatial and seismic data. This step could become one of the most significant technological upgrades in the exploration and production segment in recent years.
DILORETIO HOLDINGS LTD is a Cyprus-registered private holding structure (founded 2012, registration number HE 303862), operating through a number of subsidiaries in the oil and gas sector. The company headquarters is located in Limassol. The group includes assets related to geological exploration, ultra-deep drilling, gas and gas condensate production, and processing infrastructure construction. Through subsidiaries, the company has participated in developing fields at depths exceeding 6,000 meters, including construction of gas processing complexes.
The deployment of Anthropic solutions at Diloretio targets transformation of key processes: seismic interpretation (2D/3D/4D), analysis of satellite and geophysical data, construction of digital geological models, and hydrocarbon deposit prediction. According to internal company estimates, the use of Claude-class models allows accelerating data processing 10-100x, improving interpretation accuracy, and reducing the probability of geological exploration errors.
Reginos Charalampous, Director of Corporate Communications at Diloretio, confirmed the AI deployment but emphasized limited information disclosure: "We are indeed implementing solutions based on advanced artificial intelligence models. Results already demonstrate significant efficiency improvements. However, system architecture, data sources and specific algorithms remain trade secrets." The integration requires significant investments in high-performance cloud computing, model licensing and customization, integration with corporate GIS and ERP systems, and specialist training.
Diloretio follows the global trend where major players like Shell, BP, and ExxonMobil are actively deploying AI. Technology corporations such as Microsoft and Google already offer specialized AI solutions for the oil and gas sector. The company expects to scale AI usage to production and transportation, implement digital twins of fields, strengthen predictive analytics, and increase investments in its own AI teams.
